My main task for the media A2 level is to produce a music video to a high standard using all of the required codes and conventions that appear in all professional music videos. I will be working in a group of 4, therefore we can prepare parts quickly and easily and share out responsibilities. Before the main task begins production, my group and I need to produce two subsidary tasks-a music magazine cover and a music DvD cover- these will benefit us as they relate and will advertise the music video. We use use the ideas from the subsidary tasks to use in our music video such as clothing and colours.We will evaluate all of the tasks so we will know what our strengths and weaknesses were and also it will allow us to know what we could improve on. For our music video, whatever genre we choose to carry out, we will have to ensure the music video contains the genre's codes and conventions so the audience will know what scene and atmosphere we are trying to create and this will target a specific audience.

To record our meeting and filming day, our group decided to keep a diary entry of everything we have been doing so we could organise times and days to meet up as well as recording what we have done so we did not forget. The diary entries are over a period of three months to show our progress for the task.

Girl next door to Jane Wesley
This is a video to explain the changes we had to make from the girl next door to Jane Wesley because of the actor playing two characters. We show the difference in costume and how we had to use a wig so it would be unnoticeable that the two characters were the same person.
Deleted scenes
Here are our deleted scenes that we could not put into the music video, because of timing or if the scenes just did not fit in place with the previous and future scenes, and it was difficult putting these scenes in time with the music. Fortuneately, we were glad that we had extra scenes, incase we did not have enough to fill the spaces so we thought it was best to do more scenes than we needed, rather than having too little material.

Our Finished Music Video!
Our finished product is finally completed. My group and I feel that we have worked extremely hard and are pleased with the outcome. I feel that we have progressed from the duration of AS to A2. It was fun creating this video and working together in a group successfully. Here it is:
